The Philadelphia 76ers have just about wrapped up their big offseason moves when they agreed to a 2-year $68.6 million deal with James Harden to keep The Beard in the fold. Philadelphia acquired the future Hall of Famer at the February deadline and he played in 21 games for the Sixers.

In those games, Harden was not exactly the explosive scorer he once was, but he did average 21 points, 10.5 assists, and 7.1 rebounds as his impact on the game was undeniable. He did all of that while still dealing with a hamstring injury as well so the Sixers are still getting one of the top players in the game.

Now that he has a summer to rest up, the idea is that Harden will be a bit healthier and be a bit more impactful with his scoring, but even if he isn’t, the star is going to be a big part of what the Sixers do in the 2022-23 season.

NBA Twitter had their reactions and let’s see what analysts and fans had to say about the deal.

Will James Harden ever win a title?
