Point Guard

Chris Paul - Phoenix Suns (vs. Houston Rockets)

As I’ve mentioned in prior articles, the Houston Rockets have allowed massive totals to their opponents. Most notably, they’re allowing league-high numbers in allowed steals and blocks. Tonight they face the Phoenix Suns who average 9.2 steals per game which is ranked third highest in the league. The Suns also average 4.9 blocks per game. Allowing Phoenix to play in transition is going to be a huge problem for Houston. The Rockets are +8.5 point underdogs with a 222 O/U. Chris Paul leads the Phoenix Suns with 26 steals this season. If this game plays out the way I believe it will, you’ll want to invest in Paul tonight at a salary of $8,700 on Draftkings.

Other PG Option: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

Shooting Guard

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander - Oklahoma City Thunder (vs. Brooklyn Nets)

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has a solid matchup against James Harden. SGA has made major improvements in his defensive abilities. In two games against Brooklyn last season, SGA averaged 27.5 points, 4.0 assists, and 5.0 rebounds. Look for another solid effort tonight in a game that I truly believe OKC can win. Invest in both sides of this match-up, it will be closer than many would think

Other SG Option: Lugentz Dort

Small Forward

Kevin Durant - Brooklyn Nets (vs. Oklahoma City Thunder)

Kevin Durant must play well tonight as the Nets take on an Oklahoma City Thunder team who match up relatively well against Brooklyn. SGA will be a tough matchup for James Harden. SGA has the speed, body type, and skill to make Harden make the first pass. That pass will be to Kevin Durant. Durant will not have any defensive matchup that worries me. The Nets are favored by - 9.5 points with a 216.5 O/U. Durant is my top play of the night.

Other SF Options: Joe Harris

Power Forward

Jae Crowder - Phoenix Suns (vs. Houston Rockets)

Jae Crowder is another Phoenix Suns player who will benefit from a high-paced transitional basketball matchup with Houston. When Houston turns over the ball, Crowder will ultimately benefit from increased rebounds, three-point attempts, and much more. Crowder comes in second on the Suns in terms of total steals this season. Pairing Crowder and Paul would be a smart move for tonight’s four-game slate.

Other PF Option: Darius Bazley

Center

JaVale McGee - Phoenix Suns (vs. Houston Rockets)

With Ayton still sidelined, JaVale McGee will see the start again. Now, Frank Kaminsky has been stealing much of his production but I think McGee outperforms Kaminsky tonight. For a safe approach, simply invest in identical lineups while swapping out both Phoenix big men.

Other C Option: Frank Kaminsky

Bargain Bin

PG Jevon Carter

SG Patty Mills

SF Josh Giddey

PF Darius Bazley

C JaVale McGee
