Slate Note:

Tony Bradley is expected to start and Joel Embiid will be out tonight.

Point Guard

Russell Westbrook - Washington Wizards (vs. Brooklyn Nets)

This is THE game you’re going to want a piece of on tonight on s small 4-game main slate. The U/O is high at 245.5 and the Wizards are underdogs by - 6 points. The pace of this game will be through the roof. Investing in both Westbrook and Irving tonight should be the optimal investments from this game. I can see other role players like Joe Harris, DeAndre Jordan, and Bruce Brown being major contributors in this one. Tonight’s X-factor for Brooklyn is Bruce Brown. Brown is a shut-down defender and will be tasked with limiting Bradley Beal (which I believe he can do). Bruce's Ability to limit Beal’s production is what makes me confident in Westbrook on FanDuel, DraftKings, and YahooFantasy.

Other PG Option: Kyrie Irving - Brooklyn Nets (vs. Washington Wizards)

Shooting Guard

Fred VanVleet - Toronto Raptors (vs. Orlando Magic)

OG Annunoby is out. How does this affect the Raptor’s usage and who benefits from his absence? OG supplies defense, rebounding ability, length, and shot-blocking/steal capabilities. Fred VanVleet will assume a lot of these duties and Pascal Siakam will also see a usage bump. If you’re looking for that low rostered, value GPP gem, I don’t think there is one here. OG’s absence should only benefit the starters, mainly the players I mentioned before which are Siakam and VanVleet. Lowry could benefit as well but his play this season has been subpar at best. We might be seeing the decline of Kyle Lowry. The Raptors are favored by - 5.5 with a 217 O/U.

Other SG Option: Cole Anthony - Orlando Magic (vs. Toronto Raptors)

Small Forward

Malik Beasley - Minnesota Timberwolves (vs. Cleveland Cavaliers)

Beasley will benefit from Minnesota's injuries and matchup tonight. Let me ask you this, who on Cleveland can you see defending the 6'4 194 lbs shooting guard in Beasley. He seems like a good matchup for Cavalier PF Nance expect Nance should have his hands full with Edwards. The matchup's in this game favor the Timberwolves despite Cleveland favored at -150. Injuries or not, the Timberwolves' young talent will carry them to a win tonight against a Cleveland team that is 3 and 6 on the road having lost three of their last four.

Power Forward

Anthony Edwards - Minnesota Timberwolves (vs. Cleveland Cavaliers)

Edwards should get the start tonight with the Timberwolves having a slight injury problem. Reid is a GTD, Russell is as well. Culver and Towns are OUT again and Edwards might be their most physically healthy player on the team. Edwards has averaged 20.9 DK points per game this season and remains shockingly consistent for a 6-man (bench player). His most impressive performance so far this season was a 40-point effort just two-nights back against the Golden State Warriors. Edwards has the opportunity, usage shift, skill, and value to help your lineup in a big way tonight.

Other PF Option: Larry Nance Jr. - Cleveland Cavaliers (vs. Minnesota Timberwolves)

Center

Ed Davis - Minnesota Timberwolves (vs. Cleveland Cavaliers)

If Naz Reid is out tonight, then we have an interesting situation on our hands. Minnesota is also without Towns and Hernangomez. Ed Davis is next on the depth chart. Also, keep in mind Rookie, Jarred Vanderbilt can take the reigns if need be. Realistically, Davis gets the minutes if injuries occur. But I have to say, I love the young talent on this Minnesota team. Give them the opportunity and they'll shine!

Other C Option: Andre Drummond - Cleveland Cavaliers (vs. Minnesota Timberwolves)
