Welcome back to another NBA daily fantasy season! This article will provide my top plays meant for general DFS success. Remember to check the confirmed lineups at Rotoworld Starting Lineups before lock. The most up to date information is crucial for daily fantasy success.

Point Guard

Raul Neto - Washington Wizards (vs. Brooklyn Nets)

Many will flock towards Kyrie Irving and Bradley Beal in this matchup but let’s get different! There are a couple of names in this game that people aren’t talking enough about. One of whom is Raul Neto. Another is Troy Brown Jr..Both players will be coming off the bench but for pivoting purposes, fading Westbrook, Beal and Irving could be a lucrative move in a blowout scenario. In this scenario, Neto and Brown should benefit with extra minutes and usage at low-ownership. Attempting to look at the game in a different way is a great skill for daily fantasy.

Other PG Option: Monte Morris - Denver Nuggets (Minnesota Timberwolves)

Make sure to check the Rotoworld NBA Optimizer before lock! Here you will find the top plays paired with accurate projections which will help you create your lineup!

Shooting Guard

Malik Beasley - Minnesota Timberwolves - (vs. Denver Nuggets)

If Beasley is matched up against Will Barton, get ready for a big game. I don’t like Barton tonight, despite Micheal Porter Jr. being out. Beasley has the size needed to really give Denver a problem. Invest in Paul Milsap or Nikola Jokic over Barton for your Denver exposure. The Timberwolves are +8.5 underdogs but with MPJ out tonight, I think this one stays close enough for 4th quarter action.

Other SG Option: Joe Harris - Brooklyn Nets (vs. Washington Wizards)

Small Forward

Kevin Durant - Brooklyn Nets (vs. Washington Wizards)

I don’t see this matchup going well for Rui Hachimura. He will be matching up against Kevin Durant. Durant is 6’10 240 lbs and Hachimura is 6’8 230 lbs. Durant has the speed advantage as well as the height. Hachimura came out swinging in his first game back from injury with 29.75 DK points over 25 minutes but fell off in his second game back with only 18.5 DK points over 19 minutes on the court. I predict major advantages for Brooklyn’s big men. I do not like Thomas Bryant tonight! The matchups for these Washington big men are very tough. DeAndre Jordan and Durant should be able to hold it down. Troy Brown will need to come off the bench and perform if Washington is going to have a chance tonight. The Nets are - 8 point favorites with a massive 241.5 O/U.

Other SF Option: Troy Brown - Washington Wizards (vs. Brooklyn Nets)

Power Forward

Anthony Davis - Los Angeles Lakers (vs. Memphis Grizzlies)

With LeBron James questionable for tonight’s game with the Memphis Grizzlies. Anthony Davis has to be considered. Memphis does not have the size necessary to maintain Davis. Look for Brandon Clarke to come off the bench sooner rather than later. Davis and Clarke could be a solid pairing for your GPP lineups tonight. If Lebron is confirmed out, Davis becomes a must play in all fantasy formats. The Lakers are - 9 point favorites with a 220 O/U.

Other PF Option: Paul Millsap - Denver Nuggets (vs. Minnesota Timberwolves)

Center

Nikola Jokic - Denver Nuggets (vs. Minnesota Timberwolves)

With Micheal Porter Jr. out tonight, the Nuggets will turn to Monte Morris, Nikola Jokic, Paul Milsap, and Will Barton for a win against the ailing Timberwolves. Barton has been known to struggle defensively but can also carry you offensively. Give me Jokic tonight over all of the other options. Not only can he score but he’s a great distributor. Jokic will be the centerpiece of their offense tonight. Invest confidently in Denver’s center with MPJ sidelined on Draftkings, Fanduel, and Yahoo.

Other C Option: Rudy Gobert - Utah Jazz (vs. San Antonio Spurs)

Pivots

Thomas Bryant

Fade Brooklyn (blowout narrative)

LeBron James

Fade Westbrook/Beal combo

Bargain Bin

PG Raul Neto

SG Gary Harris

SF Malik Beasley

PF Troy Brown Jr.

C Robin Lopez
