Point Guard

De’Aaron Fox - Sacramento Kings (vs. Miami Heat)

Sacramento is filled with valuable options tonight as Holmes has been confirmed out. Holmes primarily works a pick and roll with Halliburton. Well, with Holmes out, Halliburton goes to the back burner as well (in my book). Fox will be relied upon to carry this Sacramento offense. If you remove Holmes and Halliburton from Sacramento’s usage equation, the Kings present a significant opportunity for daily fantasy value tonight but before you grab value make sure to invest in the main benefactor of the night, De’Aaron Fox. Fox has not been producing as of late. Over his last five outings, Fox has averaged only 28.04 DK FP. Look for Sacramento’s point guard to make a statement tonight putting up a significant DFS effort against the Miami Heat, keeping the Kings in the game throughout the night.

Other PG Option: Kyle Lowry

Shooting Guard

Caris LeVert - Indiana Pacers (vs. Cleveland Cavaliers)

The Cleveland Cavaliers are favored by -2.5 points with a 209.5 O/U. The matchup that I want to take a look at here is Mobley/Allen vs. Sabonis/Turner. In my opinion, Cleveland has a significant advantage here. Allen has performed well against Indiana in the past and I look for that to continue tonight. The Pacers will be without Malcolm Brogdon & Chris Duarte. Caris LeVert will be heavily used tonight to carry Indiana’s offense as I suspect Cleveland to have the advantages down low. Caris should have minimal issues scoring at will against a Cleveland team who will be without their primary guards. Lock in Caris LeVert at a salary of $9,200. Because of this massively expensive salary, I expect LeVert’s percentages to remain low. High floor. Perfect cash play.

Other SG Option: Davion Mitchell

Small Forward

Franz Wagner - Orlando Magic (vs. Boston Celtics)

Franz Wagner is the other player on this Magic squad I expect to excel tonight. Although Mo Bamba is expected to return tonight, both Carter and Wagner carry massive ceilings against the Celtics. Both Magic forwards sit at reasonable salaries in the $7,000 range on DK. Wagner’s game logs are slightly more inconsistent although his averages remain similar to Carter’s. With Cole Anthony and others OUT, consider these two as Orlando’s “Big 2”. The Magic plays solely through these two, rangier forwards and do so successfully. Don’t be surprised if the Magic give Boston a run for their money tonight.

Other SF Options: Harrison Barnes

Power Forward

Wendell Carter Jr. - Orlando Magic (vs. Boston Celtics)

The Orlando Magic are capable of beating some of the NBA’s best teams. They typically do so on the backs of Franz Wagner and Wendell Carter Jr. has been particularly impressive. It looked like a very serious injury that he suffered but has since come back strong just a few weeks removed. His salary is at $7,500 on DraftKings and has hovered around the 40 FP range in three of his last four games. The matchup against Boston is interesting. The Celtics have been playing lights out (without Tatum). Well, Tatum returns tonight. I don’t necessarily think this is a good thing for the Celtics. I expect Boston's starting five to struggle against Carter and Wagner. I like Orlando to keep this game close. A spread of - 11.5 for Boston seems a bit drastic to me. Lock in some of these Magic players for optimal daily fantasy production tonight against a Celtics team that will have to re-incorporate Jayson Tatum. Remember, Mo Bamba is expected to return to the Magic tonight.

Other PF Option: Marvin Bagley

Center

Omer Yurtseven - Miami Heat (vs. Sacramento Kings)

Omer Yurtseven has been playing very well as of late. He’s getting an opportunity and taking advantage of it. Over his last three games, Yurtseven has reached at least 36 DKFP at salaries of $4,800 and $5,800. Tonight he sits at $6,500 and yes. He’s still worth it. I fully expect a ceiling game for him soon enough. How Yurtseven plays, it’s hard for him not to reach value as long as he’s on the court. The Heat are - 3.5 point favorites with a 222.5 O/U on Pointsbet.com.

Other C Option: Robert Williams

Bargain Bin

PG Davion Mitchell

SG Caleb Martin

SF Harrison Barnes
