Report: Draymond returning to TNT as analyst for playoffs originally appeared on NBC Sports Bayarea

Draymond Green is coming to a screen near you.

The Warriors forward will return to TNT as an analyst for the NBA playoffs, Marc Stein of The New York Times reported Friday.

It's unclear at this point how often he will be in studio, and/or on which nights.

Draymond began that role last year when the NBA resumed the 2019-20 season in the Orlando bubble. In August, he was fined $50,000 for violating the league's anti-tampering rules regarding comments he made in studio about Phoenix Suns star guard Devin Booker.

The three-time NBA champion -- whose basketball IQ is as high as anybody -- was fantastic. And you should watch him any chance you get because you will learn about the game while being entertained.

“I love to try to educate through the TV position,” Green told Stein last September. "The offense is lined up and the defense is lined up and he’s telling us exactly what the offense is about to do because of what he sees.

"Similar to Tony Romo, I want to give the world insight on what is actually going on out there on the court, as opposed to people thinking they know what’s going on.”

Yours truly wants Draymond to be on TV a lot over the next six weeks.

And then hopefully he gets into the broadcasting world full-time when he retires from playing.

"It's fun. I love it because it is very hard to turn on a TV nowadays and learn something about the game of basketball," Draymond said in April on Kevin Durant's "The ETCs" podcast. "I want you to turn on your TV and if I'm speaking, you can learn something about the game of basketball.

"It's such a beautiful game, but it's very delicate. And you can really f--k it up if handled incorrectly. And I'm watching so many people f--k our game up because they don't know the game of basketball."
