The Memphis Grizzlies are close to locking up the second seed in the West playoffs.

Denver has the tiebreaker against Memphis, so any win by the Nuggets or loss by the Grizzlies will give Denver the top seed. The Kings have the current edge in record against the West, so Sacramento currently has the tiebreaker edge against the Grizzlies. Sacramento has not clinched the tiebreaker but will have done so if it becomes a factor given the intraconference games left for each team.

Either way, Memphis has clinched a top-three seed and will at least have home court advantage in the first round.
