The NBA and NBPA have agreed to new COVID-19 protocols for fully vaccinated individuals.

The NBA made an announcement Thursday, but The Athletic's Shams Charania first reported the news Wednesday night.

The new policies go into effect for teams once 85 percent of Tier 1 and Tier 2 staff are fully vaccinated (beginning 14 days after receiving their final dose).

Some of revised protocols include individuals not having to quarantine for an exposure, being able to attend in-person team meetings, being able to attend outdoor restaurants, and not having to wear a mask at the team facility.
