Point Guard

Trae Young - Atlanta Hawks (vs. Charlotte Hornets)

Ball performed extremely well last night at just 1.6% rostership. He matched up against Brogdon and simply outmatched him. Tonight, he sees a very different type of point guard in Trae Young. Young displayed a 72 DK FP ceiling just three games back against the Milwaukee Bucks. Some might look at Ball’s production as of late and lock him in. But the truth is, he’s on the back end of a back-to-back while facing a very different type of point guard compared to last night’s Malcolm Brogdon. Young’s speed, range, and agility could be a problem for Ball tonight, who played 39 minutes last night. Young is at a high $9,500 salary on DK and carries significant upside. Take a second look at Trae Young tonight.

Other PG Option: Tomas Satoransky

Shooting Guard

Chris Duarte - Indiana Pacers (vs. New Orleans Pelicans)

Chris Duarte is questionable tonight against the New Orleans Pelicans. If he plays, the matchup is prime for him. Not to mention, there’s nothing that limits high roster numbers for a given player more than a questionable tag next to their name. Duarte has averaged 24.2 DK FPPG so far this season. When healthy, his minutes are high and so is his usage in this offense. At a $4,700 DK salary, he becomes very valuable if confirmed available.

Other SG Option: Terry Rozier

Small Forward

Garrett Temple - New Orleans Pelicans (vs. Indiana Pacers)

Despite two mediocre efforts since his return, Brandon Ingram should be a pretty popular play tonight. His minutes are there. The baskets will start falling. Tonight with Graham out, the Pelicans should rely on their best player in Ingram. For pivoting purposes, if Ingram does not perform, his backup will. This would be Garrett Temple. This is a very risky play. With that said, he’s the perfect pivot off of high expected exposure in Ingram. Temple is boom or bust but he has seen 36 minutes in a game this season. He has also crossed the 30 DK FP point-mark multiple times this season. For a DK salary of $3,200, he’s worth a shot.

Power Forward

Domantas Sabonis - Indiana Pacers (vs. New Orleans Pelicans)

With Graham sidelined for tonight’s matchup with the Indiana Pacers, most will look towards this Pelicans team for value. Tomas Satoransky, Neil Alexander-Walker, Brandon Ingram, and Jonas Valanciunas will be popular plays tonight. How can we pivot off of that? Well, if Indiana blows out, all of these highly rostered players should bust. Who benefits from this game narrative? Domantas Sabonis, that’s who. Sabonis disappointed many people last night so I’d expect his roster percentages to be very low, especially for a high DK salary of $9,000. The Pacers are - 8.0 point favorites with a 207 O/U on PointsBet.com.

Other PF Option: Josh Hart

Center

Myles Turner - Indiana Pacers (vs. New Orleans Pelicans)

Myles Turner is another Indiana Pacers who I will be investing in tonight. Turner has very bad totals in each of his last three games (14.0, 13.5, 12.8). His minutes were there in two of these three poor outings. As - 8 point favorites against a Pelicans team that are also on a back-to-back. Beating the Clippers last night was impressive. I don’t expect a similar effort tonight. Indiana is my lock of the night for conventional gambling purposes.

Other C Option: Chimezie Metu
