Here's a preview of our crew-wide ranks for small forwards! The crew projected each position and we combined them to arrive at one cumulative value. There were some interesting outliers, too, with columns discussing why some of us were very high (or low) on certain players. Note: These ranks are specific to 8-cat! The Guide also has Top-200 ranks for 9-cat, Points and Dynasty.

For every player listed in the ranks, you can also find player previews, like this one for Jayson Tatum:

"2018-19: Tatum played and started in 79 games, averaging 15.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.1 steals, 0.7 blocks, 1.5 3-pointers, and just 1.5 turnovers for the Celtics. That resulted in top-60 per-game value and top-40 total value for the second-year phenom and his arrow is pointing straight up.

What’s Changed: Tatum says he wants to be an All-Star and average 20 points this season, and it wouldn’t be shocking to see it happen. The Celtics lost Kyrie IrvingTerry Rozier and Al Horford, and added Kemba WalkerEnes Kanter, and a couple rookies out of Brad Stevens’ home state of Indiana (Carsen Edwards & Romeo Langford). Tatum suffered an ankle injury in the World Cup, but it turned out to be a minor speed bump.

Outlook: Tatum is clearly one of the best third-year players in the entire league and the Celtics leadership torch is up for grabs. His 3-point percentage dropped by 6%, so some positive regression there could give him another bump. The minutes and production should be on the rise and if he bonds with Walker, Tatum could really take off this year. Don’t reach too far for him, but once the studs are off the board in the fourth or fifth inning, Tatum will be fun and popular “all-upside” pick."
