Here we go with the Eastern Conference Play-In Game between Indiana and Washington. The Wizards are listed as 3.5 point home favorites with an over/under of 237.

We’ll highlight the top picks and best bargains to assemble a cash-inducing lineup. On top of that, the “additional notes” section will feature several tournament selections while adding context to the rest of this slate.

Please note, these player picks were organized early in the day. For NBA contests, always check injury news or rotational decisions closer to game time. Our NBA News & Headlines Feed is an excellent resource to keep you in the loop.

Tonight’s single-game slate begins at 8:00 ET.

NOTES

Malcolm Brogdon is questionable for Indiana. He only played 21 minutes in Tuesday’s blowout vs. Charlotte. Most early reports suggest Brogdon will play tonight, but his minutes are somewhat of a mystery. Brogdon certainly has GPP upside if he's unleashed into a full helping of minutes, but that's not necessarily a guarantee.

Caris LeVert missed Tuesday’s game due to COVID-19 protocols, and he’ll be out for at least a few weeks. Oshae Brissett started and saw 33 minutes last time around, and his workload seems secure with LeVert out.

TOP PLAYS

Russell Westbrook - PG - Washington

No surprise here. Westbrook has been an elite fantasy producer all season, and that should continue in this elimination game. After all, this is a whopping 237 over/under between the two fastest teams in the NBA. Westbrook went off for 80 fantasy points against the Pacers last time around (May 8), although we need to add the caveat that Brogdon did not play in that game. Regardless, Westbrook should put on a show within a game that will have a frantic pace, and he’s a sensible MVP/Captain play through all formats.

Domantas Sabonis - PF - Indiana

I just mentioned how Westbrook had 80 FP the last time these two teams met. Sabonis wasn’t far behind with 70 FP himself. In fact, Sabonis has posted 70+ FP in two straight games against the Wizards. This is an outstanding matchup for him, and I’ll be doing my best to make Sabonis/Westbrook work in the same lineup.

NOTABLE BARGAINS

Ish Smith - PG - Washington

Smith is the best all-around bargain of this single-game slate. He has been outstanding with 36+ FP in two straight games, often stepping in as the Wizards’ catalyst whenever their second-team hits a lull. I’m expecting Smith to keep serving that role, which should translate to healthy fantasy value within 25-30+ minutes.

Davis Bertans - PF - Washington

Bertans was horrible at Boston on Tuesday. He finished with only five fantasy points in 32 minutes. Bertans has thrown up some fantasy clunkers over the past few weeks, but that’s pretty much baked into his reduced salary. There aren’t a ton of reliable, deep bargains on this slate, so I’m willing to give Bertans a shot - hoping he can find enough production within that 27-32 minute role.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

Oshae Brissett (PF - IND) is too cheap for only $11,500 on FanDuel. He’s in play for $7,400 over on DK, but I’m tempted to use him in the PRO spot for the discounted salary on FanDuel.

Rui Hachimura (SF - WAS) is the tournament sleeper of this slate. Similar to Bertans, Rui often lets Westbrook and Beal rack up the stats. However, he’ll occasionally come through with a solid fantasy performance akin to 39 FP vs. Indiana on May 3. The Wizards really need Rui to step up tonight, and there’s a chance he’ll come through despite a lackluster recent game log.

Daniel Gafford (C - WAS) is an interesting bargain filler on DraftKings. He’s only $4,400 over there while seeing around 20 minutes per contest. That has translated to 23+ fantasy points in three of his last four, representing strong value on this single game slate.
