This article aims to highlight some of the best NBA DFS Plays at every position for your cash game lineups. Keep in mind that the following player write-ups were constructed earlier in the day, and sometimes injury/rest situations can alter the fantasy landscape. Monitoring our NBA News & Headlines Feed throughout the day will keep you in the loop while giving you the subsequent DFS consequences of each information piece.

We’ll take a look at Thursday’s seven-game main slate starting at 7:30 ET.

POINT GUARD

Malachi Flynn - Toronto (vs. Chicago) - DK: $4,700 / FD: $6,000 / Yahoo: $18

Kyle Lowry and Fred VanVleet are still sidelined for the Raptors. That keeps Malachi Flynn in a full-time role, something he has translated into 34, 47, and 34 fantasy points respectively over his last three games. Facing a Chicago team that ranks 26th in defensive efficiency to point guards should keep him going, and the salary still hasn’t risen high enough to his new level of play.

Also Consider: Chris Paul, Jrue Holiday

SHOOTING GUARD

Collin Sexton - Cleveland (at Oklahoma City) - DK: $7,600 / FD: $7,500 / Yahoo: $29

Teammate Darius Garland stole the headlines last game, but I believe we can see a breakout from Sexton tonight. He’s averaging a solid 37 FPPG mark over his past five games, which serves as a realistic baseline. There’s a good chance Sexton will surpass that level against a hobbled Oklahoma City team that ranks 26th in defensive efficiency to shooting guards.

Also Consider: Donovan Mitchell, Tyrese Haliburton

SMALL FORWARD

Kenrich Williams - Oklahoma City (vs. Cleveland) - DK: $5,200 / FD: $4,900 / Yahoo: $12

We’ll need to double-check the injury report for OKC. Darius Bazley, Isaiah Roby, and Lu Dort are all listed as questionable. If they are out again tonight, then Williams will take on a full-time role. That was the case yesterday vs. Charlotte, and Kenrich came through with 37 fantasy points in 34 minutes. Keep him on your DFS radar in case the injuries break towards his favor.

Also Consider: Khris Middleton, Patrick Williams

POWER FORWARD

Harrison Barnes - Sacramento (vs. Detroit) - DK: $6,400 / FD: $6,300 / Yahoo: $25

Marvin Bagley’s injury has forced Harrison Barnes into the PF spot, and that has really helped his fantasy upside. It doesn’t hurt that PF Nemanja Bjelica is out of town as well. Barnes has stepped up with 41+ fantasy points in two of his last three games. That doesn’t seem like a fluke, as he’s playing a ton of minutes with legitimate 20-10-5 upside. There’s reason to believe he’ll come through against a bad, injured Detroit team.

Also Consider: Isaiah Stewart, Aleksej Pokusevski

CENTER

Nikola Vucevic - Chicago (at Toronto) - DK: $9,100 / FD: $9,900 / Yahoo: $41

There’s plenty of value on this slate, so you shouldn’t have much of a problem looking towards Nikola Vucevic at center. A matchup with Toronto doesn’t jump off the screen, but Vucevic has been a fantasy monster since joining the Bulls. It helps that Zach LaVine has been slowed down by an ankle injury, leaving Nikola to take on a bigger scoring role.

Also Consider: Richaun Holmes, Chris Boucher

ALSO CONSIDER

Aleksej Pokusevski (PF - OKC) is another Thunder player who would benefit if Isaiah Roby and Darius Bazley are out. As things stand, Pokusevski is dealing with an injury himself, so we’ll need to monitor this situation as we move closer to tip-off. He came through with 39 FP for the shorthanded Thunder last night, so there’s fantasy upside if that situation plays out again tonight.

Richaun Holmes (C - SAC) is a cheaper alternative down from Vucevic. He’s settling into a nice matchup with Detroit, who ranks 23rd in defensive efficiency to centers. Holmes has been up-and-down over the past week, but we can’t forget about his legitimate 45-50 FP upside.

Isaiah Stewart (PF - DET) will likely see around 25 minutes tonight, and that role would grow if Mason Plumlee (questionable) is out. Stewart is near minimum salary on most DFS sites, so he could be viewed as a cheap filler who has delivered 33 and 22 fantasy points respectively over his last two games.
