This article aims to highlight some of the best NBA DFS Plays at every position for your cash game lineups. Keep in mind that the following player write-ups were constructed earlier in the day, and sometimes injury/rest situations can alter the fantasy landscape. Monitoring our NBA News & Headlines Feed throughout the day will keep you in the loop while giving you the subsequent DFS consequences of each information piece.

We’ll take a look at Thursday’s 11-game main slate starting at 7:00 ET.

POINT GUARD

Kyle Lowry - Toronto (vs. Atlanta) - DK: $8,600 / FD: $8,500 / Yahoo: $28

The Raptors and 76ers are two teams that have plenty of DFS value on this slate. We will focus heavily on them throughout this article. Toronto is without Fred VanVleet, Pascal Siakam, and OG Anunoby. That leaves an elevated role for Kyle Lowry, who has produced 45+ fantasy points in three of his last four. I have faith that Lowry can exceed that threshold once again, as he’s playing a subpar Atlanta defense to go along with that heavy usage rate.

Also Consider: Luka Doncic, Chris Paul, Shake Milton

SHOOTING GUARD

Eric Bledsoe - New Orleans (vs. Minnesota) - DK: $5,600 / FD: $5,400 / Yahoo: $18

Bledsoe was on a nice little run heading into the All-Star break, and there’s a good chance that will continue tonight. The veteran guard holds an attainable mid-range salary on all DFS sites, which helps you make room for the other top-dollar picks of this slate. Bledsoe’s matchup looks good against a Minnesota team that plays fast without much defensive resistance. His range of outcomes could be anywhere from 26-40 fantasy points, which is worth a shot at this agreeable salary.

Also Consider: Paul George, Victor Oladipo, Seth Curry (FanDuel)

SMALL FORWARD

Brandon Ingram - New Orleans (vs. Minnesota) - DK: $8,400 / FD: $7,700 / Yahoo: $27

As mentioned in the previous write-up, New Orleans finds themselves in a fantasy-friendly spot tonight. This is the highest-scoring game of the night with a 236.5 over/under. Ingram could emerge as the best fantasy asset within that. His opponent, Minnesota, ranks third in pace and 26th in defensive efficiency to small forwards. Ingram has been up-and-down recently, but this is an excellent spot to catch his good side, which could be upwards of 45+ FP.

Also Consider: Khris Middleton, Josh Hart, Stanley Johnson (punt)

POWER FORWARD

Tobias Harris - Philadelphia (at Chicago) - DK: $8,100 / FD: $6,900 / Yahoo: $30

Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid will not play tonight. That means Tobias Harris will step in as the top playmaker for Philadelphia. The last time Embiid missed a game (Feb. 15 @ UTA), Harris answered the call with 57 fantasy points. Obviously his floor/ceiling combination is extended when the MVP candidate is sidelined. Playing up in pace against a Bulls team that ranks 22nd in defensive efficiency to opposing frontcourts doesn’t hurt either.

Also Consider: Chris Boucher, PJ Washington

CENTER

Dwight Howard - Philadelphia (at Chicago) - DK: $5,300 / FD: $3,800 / Yahoo: $10

Howard is expected to soak up extra minutes with Embiid not playing. He profiles as an extremely good play on FanDuel and Yahoo - where his salary hovers around the minimum. In the last two games with Embiid out, Howard is averaging 26 minutes and 31 fantasy points per contest. That’s a realistic median projection for him tonight, and it helps that Chicago has gotten torched by centers recently.

Also Consider: Karl-Anthony Towns, Kelly Olynyk

ALSO CONSIDER

Shake Milton (PG - PHI) is another Philadelphia player who will look to step up with Simmons/Embiid out. His $4,200 salary on FanDuel is particularly attractive, especially considering you have to roster two true point guards over there.

Stanley Johnson (SF - TOR) stepped up for 24 fantasy points in 35 minutes with Toronto shorthanded last game. As explained earlier, the Raptors will be missing a few key players once again. On top of that, Terence Davis is questionable. If Davis is out, it would be safer to assume that Johnson could top 30+ minutes, making him an interesting pick for minimum salary. Keep an eye on this situation.

Chris Boucher (PF/C - TOR) is always capable of running up an efficient stat line. The Raptors will need to play him more minutes while thin in the frontcourt, making him an interesting mid-range pick on all DFS sites. Pairing him with Tobias Harris at power forward seems like a confident cash game strategy.

Kelly Olynyk (C - MIA) stepped up for 41 fantasy points in 36 minutes with Bam Adebayo out last game. Bam will not play again tonight, so Olynyk will have another chance to see quality playing time. The matchup vs. Orlando isn’t quite as friendly as his last gig in New Orleans, but it’s safe to say that Olynyk is underpriced relative to the expanded role.
