POINT GUARD

Luka Doncic – Dallas (vs. Phoenix) - DK: $10,400 / FD: $10,900 / Yahoo: $50

Point guard is top heavy tonight and getting two of the top guards is a priority. Forced to choose one, I’m going with Doncic. This game could be a defensive showcase, but it should be competitive, something we can’t expect for Curry (the Warriors are 12-point home favorites). Doncic also benefits from the faster pace of the Suns, as well as a 35.3 percent usage rate, five points higher than Curry’s. Doncic missed the two games against the Suns earlier in the season, but is playing the top of his game right now averaging 70 fantasy points in his last two games.

Also Consider: Steph Curry, Chris Paul, Kemba Walker

SHOOTING GUARD

Brandon Ingram – New Orleans (at NY Knicks) - DK: $8,000 / FD: $8,200 / Yahoo: $35

We also have a few decent options at the two-guard position, but Ingram is my favorite. On a defensive-minded slate there aren’t any notable DvP spots besides this one. Plus, Ingram enjoys the highest usage of any player on his team, a trend that should continue even if Graham returns tonight (he is currently questionable). This game has the lowest point total of the night, but should also be more competitive, with New York four-point favorites. The nice thing about Ingram is that he’s been good regardless of game script, with a 30-ish floor and 50-plus ceiling.

Also Consider: Devin Booker, Caris LeVert

SMALL FORWARD

Jonathan Kuminga – Golden State (vs. Indiana) - DK: $4,300 (PF) / FD: $5,900 / Yahoo: $12

As soon as you see what Kuminga can do in 20-plus MPG, it’s hard to put him back on the bench. With Draymond Green out, and Otto Porter also resting tonight, he’s an easy play at SF/PF/F. His defensive rating is excellent, and he recorded his first double-double Tuesday night. Kuminga’s scoring is all over the place, but he’s at least been in the double-digits in each of his last five games. Expect that trend to continue tonight with one of the best value plays of the day.

Also Consider: Andrew Wiggins, Josh Hart, Justin Holiday, RJ Barrett, Dorian Finney-Smith

POWER FORWARD

Julius Randle – New York Knicks (vs. New Orleans) - DK: $9,100 / FD: $8,700 / Yahoo: $37

There’s not a lot of choice at PF, so no offense to Randle, but he’s the only safe play and unfortunately you have to pay up for it. Luckily, he seems to be past a bit of a mid-season slump, averaging over 20 points per game in his last three. He’s averaging a double-double for the season, and in his last three games has eight or nine assists. New Orleans is a good rebounding team, and Randle struggled against them back in October, but he’s still finding his place in my FD and Yahoo rosters tonight (you can put Kuminga at PF on DK).

Also Consider: Jae Crowder

CENTER

Goga Bitadze – Indiana (at Golden State) - DK: $3,700 / FD: $5,000 / Yahoo: $12

Another great value option is Bitadze, who should have the opportunity to put up big numbers with Myles Turner out and Domantas Sabonis suffering an ankle sprain last night. He was great in 25 minutes on Monday with Turner out, putting up 17 points and eight rebounds with two blocks against the Clippers. He has a tough matchup tonight, but the minutes should be there, and for the price (and lack of a sure-thing at center) he should reach value with ease.

Also Consider: Jonas Valanciunas, Bismack Biyombo or JaVale McGee

ADDITIONAL NOTES

Justin Holiday (G/F – IND) almost made my article yesterday, but there were too many games! He’s on a nice run right now with the Pacers various injuries, playing well over 30 MPG most nights. The Pacers are big underdogs tonight on a back-to-back, so in addition to injuries (like Sabonis), the team might be more cautious with Brogdon and/or LeVert as well. Either way, Holiday has been shooting and scoring well, and is a good bet for a couple steals, especially when you consider that the Warriors have the league’s second-highest turnover rate.

Kemba Walker (PG – NYK) costs $5500 on FD, $18 on Yahoo, and $6100 on DraftKings. Walker played 30 minutes in his first game back and put up a fantasy point per minute. He had found a nice groove before a knee injury sidelined him for three weeks, but if he’s going to be back and playing that previous role, he’s certainly worth a roster spot at these salaries. The Pelicans are the best overall matchup on the slate, and play faster than the Knicks, which should benefit both Walker and Randle. Walker’s affordable upside is making him my last PG or Utility slot filler.
