This article aims to highlight some of the best NBA DFS Plays at every position for your cash game lineups. Keep in mind that the following player write-ups were constructed earlier in the day, and sometimes injury/rest situations can alter the fantasy landscape. Monitoring our NBA News & Headlines Feed throughout the day will keep you in the loop while giving you the subsequent DFS consequences of each information piece.

We’ll take a look at Monday’s seven-game main slate starting at 7:00 ET.

POINT GUARD

Anfernee Simons - Portland (vs. Brooklyn) - DK: $6,400 / FD: $7,300 / Yahoo: $23

The Blazers are thin at the moment. Damian Lillard, CJ McCollum, Norman Powell, and Larry Nance Jr. are all sidelined. That means Simons is set to carry the load in Portland’s backcourt. He has blossomed in that role while averaging 43 FPPG over his last four contests. That’s a realistic expectation while playing up in pace against Brooklyn tonight. Sure, Simons’ salary has jumped due to that recent surge, but he’s still underpriced when considering the featured role for Portland.

Also Consider: Cade Cunningham, Kevin Porter Jr.

SHOOTING GUARD

Tyrese Haliburton - Sacramento (vs. Cleveland) - DK: $6,900 / FD: $6,800 / Yahoo: $29

Haliburton has a non-imposing mid-range salary that I’m willing to act on tonight. His opponent, Cleveland, has been respectable this season, but the Cavaliers actually rank 25th in defensive efficiency to backcourts over their last five games. Haliburton has looked sharp as well, hitting 39+ fantasy points in two of his last three games. The second-year guard should be able to keep it going in this home date with the Cavs, and he’s a solid lift through all DFS formats.

Also Consider: James Harden, Seth Curry (if playing)

SMALL FORWARD

Keita Bates-Diop - San Antonio (at New York) - DK: $3,800 / FD: $3,900 / Yahoo: $11

We have a few expensive players in today’s write-ups, so you are going to need some value to wash that down. Bates-Diop is a fine solution to that dilemma. His salary is hovering around the minimum despite stepping into a larger role for the Spurs. San Antonio is without Derrick White, Devin Vassell, Doug McDermott, and Keldon Johnson. That should push Bates-Diop into a 30-33 minute role. Sure, he was underwhelming at Brooklyn yesterday, but seeing 37 minutes is nothing to scoff at. There’s a high probability Bates-Diop will reach value while seeing similar playing time this evening.

Also Consider: Nassir Little, Furkan Korkmaz

POWER FORWARD

Giannis Antetokounmpo - Milwaukee (at Charlotte) - DK: $12,000 / FD: $11,500 / Yahoo: $56

You have to love this matchup for Antetokounmpo tonight. He’s squaring off against a Charlotte team that ranks dead last in defensive efficiency to opposing frontcourts. Making matters even better, the Hornets rank second in pace and last in rebound rate this season. In other words, Giannis is poised for a monster game on the road. Antetokounmpo has notched 68+ fantasy points in two of his last four, and I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if he crossed that threshold this evening. It’s worth pointing out that one of those performances was against this same Charlotte team on Saturday. The Hornets still don’t have an answer for Giannis.

Also Consider: Tobias Harris, Christian Wood

CENTER

Jusuf Nurkic - Portland (vs. Brooklyn) - DK: $7,000 / FD: $7,400 / Yahoo: $27

As mentioned earlier, the Blazers are down several playmakers tonight. That means more usage for Nurkic up front. The Portland big man has thrived in that role while seeing extra playing time to boot. Nurkic is averaging 44 fantasy points over his last four, and that’s a solid projection as long as Lillard/McCollum/others are out. Playing up in pace against a Brooklyn team traveling across the country is a nice landing spot for Nurkic.

Also Consider: Joel Embiid, Hassan Whiteside

POTENTIAL BARGAINS

Hassan Whiteside (C - UTA) is slated to see around 30 minutes with Rudy Gobert out. He has looked mediocre in that role over the last two games, but keep in mind that the salary has stayed down because of that. Perhaps this is a breakout opportunity while seeing starter-like minutes against a Detroit team that ranks 23rd in defensive efficiency to centers and 28th in rebound rate.

Nassir Little (SF - POR) has been pretty mediocre for the short-handed Blazers, but he’ll continue to see opportunities with starter minutes. Keep him on your value radar as a respectable bargain filler.
