This article aims to highlight some of the best NBA DFS Plays at every position for your cash game lineups. Keep in mind that the following player write-ups were constructed earlier in the day, and sometimes injury/rest situations can alter the fantasy landscape. Monitoring our NBA News & Headlines Feed throughout the day will keep you in the loop while giving you the subsequent DFS consequences of each information piece.

We’ll take a look at Monday’s 10-game main slate starting at 7:30 ET.

POINT GUARD

De’Aaron Fox - Sacramento (at New Orleans) - DK: $8,300 / FD: $8,200 / Yahoo: $33

There’s no shortage of quality point guards on this 10-game slate. Damian Lillard and Luka Doncic headline that list, but don’t forget about De’Aaron Fox for a significantly cheaper salary. This is an excellent game for DFS purposes, as the Kings will be playing in New Orleans with a 233 over/under - the highest of the night. Fox has posted 42+ fantasy points in three of his last four, and now he’s facing a Pelicans team that ranks 26th in defensive efficiency to PGs. On top of that, Fox’s usage rate seems to be climbing. He currently ranks 15th in the NBA at a 30.3% usage clip, which is higher than guys like Kyrie Irving, Nikola Jokic, and Kawhi Leonard.

Also Consider: Damian Lillard, John Wall, LaMelo Ball (if Rozier out)

SHOOTING GUARD

Tyrese Haliburton - Sacramento (at New Orleans) - DK: $5,200 / FD: $5,400 / Yahoo: $21

As hinted in the previous write-up, this SAC-NO game represents the best fantasy environment of the night. Haliburton has been heating up with 38+ fantasy points in two of his last four games, and he’s getting rewarded with minutes in the 30s. A high-scoring contest against a New Orleans team that ranks 22nd in defensive efficiency to backcourts should keep the rookie going. Considering his recent form, Haliburton is still underpriced across all three DFS sites.

Also Consider: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Immanuel Quickley

SMALL FORWARD

Will Barton - Denver (vs. Detroit) - DK: $4,800 / FD: $4,000 / Yahoo: $13

This recommendation depends on the status of Denver SG Gary Harris. Harris left with an injury after playing eight minutes last game, enabling Barton to step up for 34 fantasy points in 37 minutes. Michael Porter got into foul trouble as well, which helped increase Barton’s playing time. If Harris is out tonight, the rotation should be condensed enough to push Barton around 30 minutes. He’s cheap on all DFS sites while looking like a respectable bargain if that’s the case.

Also Consider: Khris Middleton, Harrison Barnes

POWER FORWARD

Zion Williamson - New Orleans (vs. Sacramento) - DK: $7,900 / FD: $8,300 / Yahoo: $37

Let’s go back to the well of fantasy upside in New Orleans. Zion Williamson makes for a comfortable pick in this 233 over/under, as he’s playing up in pace against a Sacramento team that ranks 23rd in defensive efficiency to power forwards. Zion is averaging 43 FPPG over his last four, and I’m expecting him to top that mark in this plum draw. He was able to post 31-6-2 against the Kings earlier this season, so there’s definitely scoring upside tonight.

Also Consider: Christian Wood, Thaddeus Young

CENTER

Andre Drummond - Cleveland (vs. Minnesota) - DK: $8,600 / FD: $8,800 / Yahoo: $40

Drummond will get a rematch against a Minnesota team he posted 60 FP against last night. The Wolves currently rank dead last in defensive efficiency to centers and 29th in rebound rate. In other words, this is a dream matchup for Drummond, who is the best rebounder in the league. Minnesota will likely be shorthanded in the frontcourt with Karl-Anthony Towns and Naz Reid highly questionable, which certainly makes us feel better about Drummond’s DFS prospects.

Also Consider: Enes Kanter

ADDITIONAL NOTES

Anthony Edwards (SG - MIN) has been stepping up for the Wolves lately, hitting 39+ FP in two of his last three outings. He’s shooting better and seeing more minutes with Jarrett Culver sidelined for a few weeks. The top overall pick has a wide range of fantasy outcomes, but Edwards holds significant profit potential if he continues to play aggressive/confident ball.

Hassan Whiteside (C - SAC) is an interesting value filler to keep in mind. He’s back in the Sacramento rotation while seeing around 20 minutes per contest. As we all know, Whiteside can fill up the box score in a hurry, and he’s dirt-cheap across the DFS landscape. Keep him in mind when hunting for a utility filler on DraftKings or Yahoo.

Thaddeus Young (PF - CHI) wasn’t in Chicago’s rotation to begin the season, and now he’s one of their most important players. The veteran has posted 40+ fantasy points in back-to-back games, distributing the ball with 20 assists over that span. He’s playing fantastic at the moment while remaining underpriced - especially on FanDuel. Go ahead and look towards him as a PF2 over there.
