ARIEL EPSTEIN: Welcome to "Yahoo Daily Fantasy in the NBA." I'm the Prep Queen, Ariel Epstein. Let's start off the month of February on a high note, winning some tournaments in NBA DFS. What else do you have to do now that football is over during the week?

I'm going to give you three different plays, including a value play. Let's start with a pricier play. For $28, I'm playing the Cleveland Cavalier's center, Jarrett Allen. He's up against the Houston Rockets. Houston has been the worst defense in the NBA this year. Yeah, Houston, we have a major problem, especially because Jarrett Allen is one of the better centers in the NBA. He's averaging just under 16 points per game and just over 11 rebounds up against a bottom 10 defense. Houston, also, I mean, come on, they have no one to protect in the paint. Give me Jarrett Allen all day for $28.

For my second play, I'm playing the shooting guard on the Charlotte Hornets, Terry Rozier, for $27. He's up against the Boston Celtics, who I know are a top 10 defense. I've been tracking this trend all year. Playing shooting guards against the Celtics is super profitable.

If you look at the last 10 games, the Celtics have allowed for shooting guards to shoot just under 18 points per game. That's because all year, the Celtics have been the fifth worst defense in protecting against guards. Looking at what Rozier has done up against defenses bottom 10 against guards, he's averaging just under 18 points per game. He also put up 28 points against Boston back on January 19. I'm taking Terry Rozier all day today. Give me him in my lineup.

For my last play, it's kind of a value play. For $23, the Orlando Magic's small forward, Franz Wagner, is great value. He's playing really well, averaging just under 16 points per game in January. Also, the Pacers are allowing the second most points per game to forwards. Indiana's defense has gotten so much worse in the last few weeks, especially once you lose Myles Turner, potentially Domantas Sabonis in COVID protocols. There's just a lot of pieces missing to what makes up a good Pacers defense. That's why the Pacers are allowing just over 12 more points per game to their opponents off their season average. I'm going to take advantage of this weak Pacers defense who can't, essentially, defend anything and put Franz Wagner in my lineup for $23.

Here's your NBA DFS recap. For $28, I'm playing Cleveland Cavalier's center, Jarrett Allen. For $27, Charlotte Hornet's shooting guard, Terry Rozier. And $23 value play, Orlando Magic's small forward, Franz Wagner. That's it for me, your Prep Queen, Ariel Epstein, here on this Wednesday edition of "The NBA Daily Fantasy Slate." Good luck tonight.
