NBA betting: Bettors like Milwaukee, Golden State against the spread Tuesday night

Bettors are backing the Bucks and Warriors to prove their Game 1 performances weren’t flukes in Tuesday night's NBA playoff games.

Both road teams are getting the majority of money against the spread at BetMGM ahead of Game 2 in their respective series. The Bucks are 4.5-point underdogs at the Boston Celtics (7 p.m. ET, TNT) and are getting 59% of bets and 64% of the money. The Warriors are 1.5-point favorites at the Memphis Grizzles (9:30 p.m. ET, TNT) and are getting 63% of bets and 64% of the money.

The Bucks easily won Game 1 without Khris Middleton as the Celtics’ offense was nothing like it was in its sweep of the Brooklyn Nets. Boston had 28 field goals and just 10 of them were from inside the 3-point line. The 89 points Boston scored in its Game 1 loss to the Bucks were the fewest it had scored since a 91-82 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Dec. 29.

The Warriors squeaked by the Grizzlies 117-116 after Draymond Green was ejected because of a Flagrant 2 foul and Ja Morant’s final shot didn’t go in. Steph Curry and Klay Thompson were just 8-of-22 from behind the arc, and Jordan Poole led the Warriors with 31 points.

The Bucks are +150 to win Game 2 straight up and are getting 70% of the bets on the money line. But those bets make up just 37% of the handle as big-money bets are on the Celtics at -185 to even up the series.

The Warriors are -135 to win Game 2 and are getting 42% of bets and 59% of the money at those odds. The Grizzlies are +110 to tie the series.

Bettors are also backing the over with their money in both games. Nearly two-thirds of the money is on over 227.5 in Memphis while 70% of the money is on over 214.5 in Boston.
