NBA bets you need to make: Friday 11/15

The Pistons have struggled on the road, losing five straight away games. They’ve also struggled versus the Charlotte Hornets when playing at the Spectrum Center, winning only once in their last eight trips there.

With the Pistons giving up an average of 115.2 points on the road on 49.9 percent shooting, and the Hornets allowing opponents to score an average of 118 points on 53.9 percent at home (27th and 30th in the NBA), expect a higher-scoring contest and bet Over the total of 219 points.

The Orlando Magic host the San Antonio Spurs as 3.5-point favorites Friday. The game total opened at 208.5 but has since moved up to 212.5.

Neither team has been consistent offensively with Orlando pegged as the lowest-scoring team in the league, averaging only 99.4 point an outing. On the other end of the court, San Antonio is putting up just 109.5 points per game on the road.

The Magic have won most of their games due to stellar defensive play, holding opponents to 96.3 points as hosts. With Orlando limiting opponents to 48.4 first-half points at home and the Spurs starting slow, averaging 52.2 first-half points on the road, bet the first-half game total Under 103.

The Indiana Pacers forward Domantas Sabonis is putting up big numbers this season, logging 34.9 minutes a game through the first nine contests and averaging 19.8 points, 13.3 boards and 3.3 assists - all career highs.

Sabonis is in a favorable spot versus a Houston Rockets team among the worst at defending opposing power forwards, allowing 28.2 points on 53.9 percent shooting along with 12.6 rebounds per game. With the Rockets handing over 11.6 offensive rebounds a night and an average of 51.5 points in the paint, expect a big night out of Sabonis and bet Over his points, rebounds, assists total of 36.5.

The Washington Wizards are 6.5-point underdogs travelling to Minnesota to take on the Timberwolves, who are fresh off a two-game winning run. The Timberwolves are one of the highest-scoring teams, averaging 117.2 points per game. They’ve scored 120 points or more in four of their last five performances.

Washington is surrendering a game average of 120 points against and is allowed 140 points to the Boston Celtics Wednesday. The three most recent matchups between these two squads have been high scoring, with the average final count of 129-124 in favor of the T-Wolves. Look for Minnesota to continue to light up the scoreboard and handle business at home covering the 6.5-point spread.

The Utah Jazz visit the Memphis Grizzlies as 7-point favorites with the game total set at 214.5. The Under has been a very profitable angle when these Western rivals clash, going 7-21 Over/Under in their last 28 head-to-head meetings.

The Jazz are holding opponents to 42 percent shooting from the floor and under the century mark on the season, at an average of 99.5 points against. Look for another solid defensive performance out of them and bet Under the Grizzlies team total of 104.
