Former Alabama running back Najee Harris has signed his rookie contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The contract is for four years and $13.1 million fully guaranteed, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Harris was selected No. 24 overall by the Steelers in the first round of the 2021 NFL draft. He was the first running back drafted.

While at Alabama, the star broke numerous records. Now, he’ll be looked to as a vital piece of this Steelers offense despite being a rookie. Some have claimed he could be the team’s ‘savior.’

He will be a part of an offense that includes JuJu Smith-Schuster, Chase Claypool and other dynamic playmakers.
