NABC honors three Vols

Tennessee was honored for its academic achievement by the National Association of Basketball Coaches Tuesday.

Three Tennessee players earned placement on the NABC Honors Court, which recognizes junior, senior and graduate student men’s basketball players who finished the 2021-22 academic year with a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher.

Departed senior Victor Bailey Jr., sixth-year graduate student John Fulkerson and rising senior Santiago Vescovi each made the NABC Honors Court.

Bailey Jr. and Fulkerson were honored for their work in UT’s Agricultural Leadership, Education & Communication graduate program.

Vescovi was honored for his academic record as he pursues a degree in Business Management.

The Vols also earned a team award by the NABC with a 3.28 GPA.
