Rumors are starting to swirl about Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool and a potential trade. It’s important to note the Steelers have not publicly stated anything related to trading the talented wide receiver. Same for Claypool as he’s made no mention of requesting a trade.
These rumors are all centered around the notion that Claypool is one of the three guys on the roster, along with quarterbacks Mitch Trubisky and Mason Rudolph, who have significant trade value and are being underutilized.

On the season, Claypool has 28 catches for 266 receiving yards and one touchdown. With guys like Diontae Johnson, George Pickens and Pat Friermuth in the fold, Claypool isn’t going to be featured in this offense but he has the physical tools to do far better.
