In March we noted rising senior forward Trey Mourning would likely leave the program, and provided a May update on his status. Things looked like the son of Hoya great Alonzo Mourning would finish school elsewhere.
Cue the screeching tires sound: According to a source, he is still slated to don Blue and Grey in college. Mourning's senior season is hoped to be his best - during 2016-17 he notched eight points and .5 rebounds in 1.8 minutes in 10 games - and the the team, in need of depth at all positions, needs contributions generally.
