Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is to investigate suspicions that there is a mole in the Old Trafford dressing room.

Mourinho discovered on Saturday morning that United’s 11 for the match against Chelsea in the afternoon had already been leaked on social media, and it was not the first time this has happened this season.

The Daily Mail reports that the Portuguese manager had given the line-up to players and backroom staff on Friday, the day they travelled from Stockport station to London via train.

On another trip to London, this time before September’s defeat to West Ham, team news was also leaked to the public.

Mourinho will be furious with Saturday’s leak, having sprung a surprise by including the previoulsy out-of-favour Juan Mata from the start of the match. United fell behind in the first half before looking set for a 2-1 victory after two goals from Anthony Martial, only to see Ross Barkley equalise at the death.

United have also altered their pre-match routine for their next match, when they play Juventus at Old Trafford on Tuesday evening. After traffic problems before their last game against Valencia in Manchester, they will stay closer to the ground instead of staying at the Lowry Hotel.
