MOUNTAINEER ROUNDUP: Eastern hoops, baseball battle in tough contests

Feb. 5—Big Blue has its athletics in full swing.

Eastern Oklahoma State College men's and women's basketball has been hard at work on the hardwood, while baseball has been battling on the diamond.

The Mountaineers and Lady Mountaineers split a pair of games against Seminole State, later both competing in hard-fought battles against Murray State.

Eastern baseball took on Tyler Junior College in a three game series, which was moved up due to weather conditions.

The Mountaineers and Lady Mountaineers are neck deep in the second half of basketball season, with home games against Connors and NOC-Tonkawa, while Eastern baseball and softball will face off in road contests.
