MOUNTAINEER ROUNDUP: Eastern baseball earns hard-fought win over Seminole

Mar. 25—Even on a break, the Mountaineers were still going to work.

Eastern Oklahoma State College sports took a slight pause for spring break activities, but finished the week by getting back to the grind.

Mountaineer baseball faced off against fellow Region 2 team Seminole State College in a three-game conference series. Eastern fought all weekend on the road, and earned a hard-fought 7-6 victory on Saturday.

Ruben Venter earned three RBIs in the win, followed by Jaxon Gregory with two RBIs, and Jackson Archambeau earning another. Kamden Thompson and Preston Prock combined their efforts on the mound, striking out 12 batters on the day.
