The Morning After: Everything you missed from the Trail Blazers first preseason game

The Blazers opened up the 2019-20 preseason with a 105-94 loss to the Denver Nuggets. Nikola Jokic didn't play for Denver, and Blazers stars Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum only played in the first half while the young guys got run to end the game. It was throwback night, with the game being played in Veterans Memorial Coliseum, but win or lose it was all good. Why? Because basketball is back!
