Monroe running back breaks out in dominant win: Section V's top performances from Saturday
Here are the top players from Saturday's Section V football action:
Jay Antinore, Batavia Notre Dame: Threw touchdown passes covering nine and 37 yards while completing 12 of 20 attempts for 134 yards during a 25-14 loss to Canisteo-Greenwood.
Gavin Armbrewster, Oakfield-Alabama/Elba: Threw a touchdown while passing for 113 yards and rushed for 37 yards on 12 carries during a 13-6 loss to Avon.
Robert Arnold, Monroe: Scored a touchdown, had five quarterback sacks, intercepted a pass and made seven tackles as the Red Jackets defeated Rochester Prep/Eugenio Maria De Hostos 48-0.
Joe Bauer, York/Pavilion: Caught a 65-yard touchdown and had five tackles during a 41-14 win over Geneseo/Mount Morris.
Ashton Bezon, Oakfield-Alabama/Elba: Senior linebacker made 11 tackles, including a sack, during a 13-6 loss to Avon.
Parker Bonefede, York/Pavilion: Completed 9 of 16 passes for 167 yards and three touchdowns through the air, and had five carries for 43 yards and a touchdown, during a 41-14 win over Geneseo/Mount Morris.
Ryan Brady, York/Pavilion: Had a team-high 10 tackles and caught four passes for 30 yards during a 41-14 win over Geneseo/Mount Morris. Brennan Royce added six tackles.
Tyler Brady, York/Pavilion: Intercepted a pass and had three tackles during a 41-14 win over Geneseo/Mount Morris. Liam Ezard added six tackles.
Paris Brooken, Wilson/Early College: Caught seven receptions for 113 yards and a touchdown, and had six tackles and two QB hurries during a 41-14 loss to Churchville-Chili.
Josh Campbell, Churchville-Chili: Caught four receptions for 60 yards and a touchdown during a 41-14 win over Wilson.
Collin Cox, Canisteo-Greenwood: Completed 9 of 14 passes for 93 yards during a 25-14 win over Batavia Notre Dame. JJ Reese led his receivers with five receptions for 55 yards.

Paiton Davis, Canisteo-Greenwood: Scored two touchdowns on five carries for 46 yards during a 25-14 win over Batavia Notre Dame. Colton Havens and Lucas Mason each scored a touchdown.
Kal Dolgos, Avon: The Braves receiver caught three receptions for 59 yards and a 31-yard touchdown during a 13-6 win over Oakfield-Alabama/Elba.
Wesley Farley, Avon: Registered a sack, and three of his seven tackles went for losses during a 13-6 win over Oakfield-Alabama/Elba. He also rushed 12 times for 51 yards.
Remy Greenwood, Avon: Caught an interception and had one of his five tackles go for losses during a 13-6 win over Oakfield-Alabama/Elba.
Messiah Hampton, Monroe: Recovered a fumble for a touchdown, returned a punt 44-yards for another touchdown and made five tackles during a 48-0 win by the Red Jackets.
Travis Hollada, Avon: Registered a sack and six tackles during a 13-6 win over Oakfield-Alabama/Elba. Jordan Murray also added six tackles.
Ricardo Lagares, Churchville-Chili: The running back rushed for 120 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries during a 41-14 win over Wilson. Max Tomaszewski also caught a touchdown.
Tahjmir Mullins, Monroe: Scored two touchdowns as he rushed for 103 yards on eight carries during the team's 48-0 win over Rochester Prep/Eugenio Maria de Hostos.
Eric Neal, Churchville-Chili: Returned an interception 93 yards for a touchdown during a 41-14 win over Wilson.
Jake Pangrazio, York/Pavilion: Caught three receptions for 93 yards and two touchdowns, and had five tackles and a pass deflection, during a 41-14 win over Geneseo/Mount Morris.
Shamar Pittman, Wilson/Early College: Completed 10 of 19 passes for 139 yards and a touchdown, and rushed for 52 yards and a touchdown on the ground, during a 41-14 loss to Churchville-Chili.
Gavin Price, Bath Haverling: Linebacker made 12 tackles, including three for losses, intercepted two passes and recovered a fumble during a 27-26 loss to Penn Yan.
Chase Shepanski, Churchville-Chili: The quarterback completed 10 of 14 passes for 111 yards and two touchdowns during a 41-14 win over Wilson.
Colin St. Lucia, Churchville-Chili: Made all five PATs during a 41-14 win over Wilson.
Jaden Sherwood, Batavia Notre Dame: Finished with five catches for 62 yards, including a 37-yard touchdown during the team's 25-14 loss to Canisteo-Greenwood. Ryan Fitzpatrick also had a touchdown reception.
Chris Thompson, Avon: The Braves quarterback ran for a 75-yard touchdown and finished with 119 rushing yards on 13 carries. He also completed 6 of 19 passes for 83 yards and a touchdown during a 13-6 win over Oakfield-Alabama/Elba.
Beau Zeh, Canisteo-Greenwood: Carried the ball 20 times for 97 yards during a 25-14 win over Batavia Notre Dame.
