Mom uses tiny Christmas tree ‘toddler hack’ to keep kids busy while she decorates

Decorating the Christmas tree is fun for the whole family every year — but the littlest family members don’t always have the ability to contribute.

One mom created a toddler Christmas tree hack so that the whole family could get into the holiday spirit. When little ones help decorate the tree, they usually can only reach a small part of the tree because they aren’t tall enough. And their tiny hands don’t exactly make them pros at hanging up ornaments either.

TikToker @lyndsey1986_growhost came up with the perfect solution for families. Now the parents and the big kids can have a “grownup” tree while the toddlers have their holiday fun separately.

Toddler Christmas tree hack,” the mom wrote in a caption. “Small tree for them to do whatever they want. Let them use creativity decorating with toys and bows. You decorate the BIG tree and they will be busy.”

She showed off a tiny Christmas tree that was about the height of a toddler. It was covered in colorful bows, string lights and toys like Mickey Mouse.
