Valdez, Tucker lead Astros to 2-1 win over Rangers

Framber Valdez tied a career high with 11 strikeouts in 6 1/3 solid innings, Kyle Tucker homered and the Houston Astros beat the Texas Rangers 2-1 on Thursday night. Tucker gave the Astros a 2-0 lead with a two-run homer to right in the second that just made it over the wall. Tucker said he did not know if the ball was going to get out.
