Crawford hit a grand slam in the second inning and scored the winning run in extra innings as host Seattle defeated Tampa Bay for its sixth win in seven games. Mitch Haniger lined the first pitch of the bottom of the 10th inning from Rays right-hander J.P. Feyereisen (3-3) down the left-field line to score Crawford from second base. Right-hander Rafael Montero (4-2) pitched a scoreless top of the 10th for the victory.
