The 33-year-old veteran has signed a minor league deal with the New York Mets. The Athletic's Will Sammon was among the first to report the news. Iglesias spent one season in Orange County in 2021. In 114 games with the Halos that season, Iglesias slashed .259/.295/.375 with a .670 OPS, collecting eight home runs and 41 RBIs in 424 at-bats. The one-time All-Star was released later that season by the Halos to make roster space for pitcher Janson
