Hunter Pence went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer, double, three RBI and a stolen base in the Giants' 5-4 win over the Padres on Tuesday.
Advice: Hunter Pence launched a towering 437-foot two-run homer, his third of the year, to left field off Padres starter Joey Lucchesi in the second inning. It was his first round-tripper since August 25. He also drilled an opposite-field RBI double in the fourth inning to put the Giants ahead and swiped third base, his fifth steal of the year, later in the frame. The 35-year-old veteran outfielder has battled through an injury-marred campaign, but managed to turn back the clock in an epic performance. It was his first game since June 8, 2013 in which he recorded a double, homer and stolen base in the same contest. He’s been a complete afterthought from a fantasy perspective, hitting .215/.254/.315 with 13 runs scored, three homers, 22 RBI and five steals in 213 plate appearances.
