The Tennis Integrity Unit says a total of four matches at Wimbledon and the French Open have been flagged for unusual betting patterns. The TIU's quarterly report says a total of 53 match alerts were received from April to June out of a total of more than 31,000 professional matches. Three of the recently flagged matches were at Wimbledon - two in qualifying, one in the main draw - and one was at Roland Garros.
The MLB trade rumors are picking up as the July 31 deadline approaches. The latest one: According to baseball insider Jon Morosi, the Houston Astros are potentially interested in a Justin Verlander-Justin Wilson deal with the Detroit Tigers that would send the two pitchers to the AL West contender. Morosi also said the Astros were in talks with the Oakland Athletics on right-hander Sonny Gray. Wilson - the Tigers' left-handed closer - is an attractive trade piece this month as contending teams look for bullpen depth.
