July 21 (UPI) -- Yu Darvish's name is out on the market as the Texas Rangers have reached out to several teams to gauge interest in the right-handed pitcher. Major League Baseball sources told Yahoo Sports Thursday that the Rangers are "gathering information" on what type of return they could get back if the franchise decided to trade the six-year veteran before the July 31 trade deadline. Darvish, 30, is 6-8 this season with a 3.45 ERA in 20 starts. The four-time All-Star owns a career 3.32 ERA and 52-38 record on the hill. Darvish had a career-best 16 wins in 2012 and led the league with 277 strikeouts in 2013. Sources told Yahoo Sports that the Rangers are "not committed" to trading Darvish.
