    Mets plan meeting with pitching staff on use of sticky substances

    Major League Baseball released a memo to all 30 clubs on Tuesday detailing the sport’s crack down on the use of foreign or sticky substances on baseballs. The league will suspend a pitcher for 10 games if he is caught using or applying any sticky substance on a ball, other than the rosin bag on the mound. MLB’s enforcement will go into effect on June 21.
