Syracuse Mets comeback runs out of steam in 11-6 loss to Red Wings

After trailing, 5-0, 6-1, and 7-5, Syracuse pulled within one run twice before ultimately falling, 11-6, to the Rochester Red Wings on Friday night in front of an electric crowd of nearly 5,000 fans at NBT Bank Stadium. Despite the loss, Danny Mendick went 4-for-4 at the plate for Syracuse with two RBIs. With one out, Onix Vega walked, Brady Lindsly singled, and Richie Martin walked to load the bases. A Cody Wilson pop out to first base had Syracuse dreaming of getting out of the inning unscathed.
