Big League Stew - MLB

I'm split on the issue. On one hand, I have a weird desire to be the crotchety old man who complains about Pink's music being too loud during the routine and that Ty Cobb once abstained from even talking to women between the years of 1911 and 1913, fer chrissake.

On the other, I'd pay about $27 extra per ticket to have these two Reds girls to the right entertaining me between innings in Cincinnati.

Injured Tiger Curtis Granderson harbors no such indecision in his latest mailbag for ESPN, which includes his pointed recommendation for improving the stadium experience: cheerleaders, dance teams and lots of 'em.

From Granderson's blog:

Last but not least, cheerleaders or dancers. Winter leagues have them, the Marlins have them and every level of basketball and football has them (from pee wee to the pros), so why not baseball? There's nothing else going on between innings.

So what do you think? Should all teams make moves to bringing some pretty young women aboard? Or should they stay far away? Maybe your opinion changes on a team-by-team basis (yes to Angels and Rangers; no to Cubs, Red Sox and Yankees)?

Rock the vote here.

A big BLS head not to Fanhouse for bringing this pompom to the table.

After the jump, check out a picture of Robinson Cano and Chien-Ming Wang in cheerleader outfits (you know, if that's your sort of thing).
