Teams are faced with tough decisions this year ahead of the Aug. 31 MLB trade deadline. In a 60-game season, are you a buyer or seller?

The first-place A's clearly are buyers as they acquired infielder Tommy La Stella from the Los Angeles Angels and closed the books on their 2014 Josh Donaldson trade

While the Giants are just 16-19, they could be buyers, too. Expanded playoffs help their case, and they don't play the Los Angeles Dodgers again in the regular season.

Here the latest rumors and news ahead of Monday's trade deadline.
