PITCHER

Lance Lynn - Chicago White Sox (vs. Detroit Tigers)

Lance Lynn is my top-pitching play for tonight’s slate. In 58 career at-bats against the Tigers, Lynn has allowed a mere .190 batting average while striking out 21 batters. Six expected starters for the Detroit Tigers are currently batting sub .250 against Lynn AND five of them have struck out multiple times. The White Sox are favored at -216 with an 8 O/U on Pointsbet.com.

Other option: Brett Anderson

CATCHER

Salvador Perez - Kansas City Royals (vs. Minnesota Twins - SP J.A Happ)

Salvador Perez is my top catcher for tonight’s 8-game main slate. Perez is batting 7 for 20 with two home runs against Happ. Minnesota’s SP J.A. Happ has a tough matchup tonight and comes into this game with a 7.09 road ERA and over his last five game starts his ERA is at 8.49. Invest in right-handed Royals only.

Tucker Barnhart - Cincinnati Reds (vs. St. Louis Cardinals - SP Adam Wainwright)

Tucker Barnhart has a double and two home runs in 18 at-bats against Adam Wainwright. The Cincinnati Reds are a viable stack for tonight. Besides Barnhart, Tyler Naquin and Jesse Winkler also have impressive numbers against Wainwright. Considering their current salaries, all three of these players are viable DFS investments on Draftkings, Fanduel, and YahooFantasy.

Other options: Carson Kelly

FIRST BASE

Carlos Santana - Kansas City Royals (vs. Minnesota Twins - SP J.A Happ)

Carlos Santana is a crucial part of a Kansas City stack against Minnesota’s, J.A. Happ that I love tonight. While Happ has major disadvantages, the Twins bullpen is the other part of this equation. The Twins bullpen currently has a 4.89 ERA which is the 4th highest in the majors. Lock and load a Kansas City stack tonight...You won’t regret it.

Other options: Garrett Cooper

SECOND BASE

Whit Merrifield - Kansas City Royals (vs. Minnesota Twins - SP J.A Happ)

Whit Merrifield makes an interesting play tonight against the Minnesota Twins. Merrifield has only two hits in 17 at-bats against Happ, but those two hits were home runs. Merrifield has averaged 9.4 DK PPG over his last 10 games. The Kansas City Royals are clearly my top stack of tonight’s slate.

Other option: Mike Freeman

SHORTSTOP

Jorge Polanco - Minnesota Twins (vs. Kansas City Royals - SP Kris Bubic)

Oddly enough, the Minnesota Twins also have a solid offensive matchup against Kansas City‘s, Kris Bubic Bubic has faced Minnesota in 37 prior at-bats, Nelson Cruz, Jorge Polanco, and Andrelton Simmons hit a combined 9 for 17 with three doubles in these prior at-bats. Bubic has a 1.02 home ERA (which is amazing). With that said, he is due for a regression game at home. As you may know, game stacking is one of my favorite strategies and this is a fine slot to do so.

Other options: Andrelton Simmons & Willy Adames

THIRD BASE

Kris Bryant - Chicago Cubs (vs. San Francisco Giants - SP Anthony DeSclafani)

Joc Peterson and Kris Bryant are batting a combined 13 for 34 with five home runs against Anthony DeSclafani. The only thing that bodes well for Desclafani is that this game will be in San Francisco which is a pitcher-friendly park. Lock in Bryant and Pederson tonight. Pointsbet currently has the Cubs at +110 with an 8.5 O/U.

Other options: Travis Shaw

OUTFIELD

Hanser Alberto - Kansas City Royals (vs. Minnesota Twins - SP J.A Happ)

Well aware Alberto is not OF eligible but I couldn’t end my writeup without mentioning him. Alberto has proven to hit J.A Happ very well over his career with a .350 batting average totaling two doubles and two home runs in 20 at-bats against the lefty. Carlos Santana and Salvador Perez also have solid numbers against Happ. The Kansas City Royals are one of my top stacks for tonight. Remember to include:
