Baseball has a way of bringing people together. Each year, we’re touched by stories of incredible kindness in the sport.

This season has provided us with more of the same. There was Anthony Rizzo tearing up after making a $3.5 million donation to a children’s hospital, and Joey Votto giving his bat and jersey to a young cancer patient.

The latest uplifting story in that vein comes courtesy of Bleacher Report. The site put out a video on seven-year-old Hailey Dawson on Thursday. Dawson was born without three fingers on her right hand due to a rare disease, but taught herself to hold and throw a baseball because she loves the game.

As that video shows, Dawson’s goal is to throw out a first pitch at every major-league ballpark. She’s already done so for the Washington Nationals and Baltimore Orioles.

Since that video, a number of teams have already reached out to Dawson to make that dream come true.

Sorting through the mentions of Bleacher Report’s tweet, we count seven clubs that are now looking to get Dawson to throw out a first pitch. Those teams are the: Milwaukee Brewers, Seattle Mariners, Oakland Athletics, New York Mets, Detroit Tigers, Minnesota Twins and San Diego Padres.

That doesn’t include the Cincinnati Reds, who crafted their own tweet so they could share Dawson’s story.

This isn’t the last you’ll hear from Hailey Dawson. If those tweets are any indication, she’ll be at a ballpark close to you sometime in the near future.
