It was a dismal start to the 2019 campaign for the defending champions, but they seem to have turned things around.

The Red Sox are 12-5 in the month of May and suddenly are back in the mix in the American League East race. After a sluggish April, this finally is beginning to look like the club that won 108 games en route to a World Series title a year ago.
