MLB players tell us the best clubhouse pranks they've ever seen
A major-league clubhouse isn’t any ol’ workplace. It’s a place where baseball players spend hours upon hours with each other, for months on end — until they go into the dugout with each other or the bullpen or an airplane from city to city. That breeds a certain degree of familiarness and comradery you don’t get in other professions.
Oh, and it breeds a healthy love for pranks and gags too.
All that time baseball players spend together, you better believe they mess with each other. So we asked a handful of players from around Major League Baseball to tell us about the best clubhouse pranks they’ve seen.
We said they could protect their identities of the victims and the guilty parties. And the stories are great.
