Athletics top prospect Shea Langeliers certainly left his mark on the 2022 MLB Futures Game at Dodger Stadium on Saturday.

The 24-year-old catcher, acquired by the A's in the Matt Olson trade, was one of two Oakland prospects alongside outfielder Denzel Clarke who represented the A's on Saturday.

Langeliers (1-for-2, HR, RBI) went deep, crushing a solo home run in the top of the fourth inning and extending the American League's lead to 6-3 in the seven-inning contest.

In the first inning, Langeliers showed what he could do behind the plate, throwing out a would-be base stealer.

He would go on to win the 2022 Larry Doby Award as the Futures Game MVP, becoming the fifth catcher in history to do so and as a result, his bat will be sent to the National Baseball Hall of Fame.

In 74 games with the A's Triple-A affiliate, Langeliers is hitting .272/.365/.505 with 16 home runs and 44 RBI.
