CASH STACKS

Philadelphia Phillies (vs. Washington Nationals - SP Erick Fedde)

Bryce Harper is batting 6 for 15 with four home runs against Washington’s Erick Fedde. It doesn’t get much better than that. Rhys Hoskins has a pair of home runs against Fedde himself. The Phillies have returned from the All-Star break somewhat sluggish with a .238 team ERA. Hoskins homered last night and Harper has been producing as of late, averaging 10.8 DK FPPG over his last 10 games. Look for the Phillies to pay off tonight at low roster percentages.

Top plays: Bryce Harper & Rhys Hoskins

Value: Andrew McCutchen

Pivot: Erick Fedde

GPP STACKS

Washington Nationals (vs. Philadelphia Phillies - SP Matt Moore)

Update: Washington's confirmed lineup is out. Ryan Zimmerman is not starting tonight. Carter Kieboom becomes a valuable daily fantasy option batting in the six-hole. Victor Robles & Tres Barrera are other valuable options.

Matt Moore has struggled this season. He has a 7.91 home ERA, allowing .291 OBA. Eight of his nine allowed home runs are against opposing right-handed batters. Ryan Zimmerman has a pair of home runs against Matt Moore and significantly hit value two games back against Baltimore totaling 20 DK FP at a salary of $3,100. Game stacking is currently one of my top MLB DFS strategies. For some reason, most are inclined to avoid full-game stacks. I’m not sure why. Pointsbet.com has the Phillies favored at -125 with a slate high 11.0 O/U (tied with Boston vs. Toronto, which I'll discuss next). This is a full-game stack type of line. Lock and load the Phillies and Nationals for what I’m expecting to be a close high scoring matchup.

Top plays: Ryan Zimmerman & Trea Turner

Value: Josh Harrison

Pivot: Matt Moore

Red Sox vs. Blue Jays - Full Game Stack (Garrett Richards vs. Robbie Ray)

The Toronto Blue Jays and the Boston Red Sox are another potentially lucrative full-game stack. Ray has struggled against Boston. In 25 prior at-bats, he has allowed home runs to Bobby Dalbec, Xander Bogaerts, Rafael Devers, Michael Chavis, and Kevin Plawecki (one home run to each). Yes, these are small sample sizes but indicative nonetheless. Now for Boston, Richards struggles primarily at home with a 6.51 ERA. With that said, the Green Monster is not his problem. He has only allowed three of his 14 total home runs in Fenway Park. OBA has been his problem. Opposing teams are reaching base at a .346 average against Richards in Fenway. Considering Toronto’s high contact rate, this could be a huge problem for the Red Sox tonight. Pointsbet.com has the Blue Jays as - 135 favorites with an 11 O/U.

Top plays: Xander Bogaerts, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Marcus Semien, Rafael Devers

Value: Michael Chavis & Alejandro Kirk

Pivot: Garrett Richards & Robbie Ray
