Weather Alert:

It’s very important to pay attention to the weather around the league tonight. With multiple potential postponements, weather plays as a huge factor for tonight‘s 12-game MLB DFS slate. Weather can actually be used as a GPP advantage depending on the situation. If a game is at risk of postponement, ownership percentages will certainly decrease.

CASH STACKS

Los Angeles Dodgers (vs. San Francisco Giants - SP Anthony DeSclafani)

The Los Angeles Dodgers should be the most popular cash stack of the night. The Dodgers have won nine of their last 11 games and there’s no sign of slowing anytime soon. As a team, Los Angeles is batting .375 in 48 prior at-bats against Desclafani. Desclafani is allowing opposing lefties to bat .263 with five home runs in 99 at-bats. The only Dodger who has consistently shown poor stats against Desclafani is actually Justin Turner. Turner is batting 4 for 20 with no extra-base hits and three strikeouts against San Francisco’s Desclafani. The Dodgers are currently favored at -215 with a 7.5 O/U courtesy of pointsbet.com.

St. Louis Cardinals (vs. Arizona Diamondbacks - SP Madison Bumgarner)

Paul Goldschmidt will likely be one of the most popular plays on tonight‘s slate. Over 69 career at-bats against Bumgarner, Goldschmidt is batting .348 with five doubles, three triples, and two home runs. It doesn’t get much better than that. Other St. Louis Cardinals exhibit impressive BvP stats as well including Tommy Edman & Nolan Arenado. Bumgarner has a 4.53 ERA over 10 game starts this season. The St. Louis Cardinals will be one of my top stacks for tonight, I am eager for their confirmed lineup to see if any other Cardinals are worth a second look. Pointsbet.com has St. Louis as slight underdogs at +125 with a 9.5 O/U.

Top Plays: Will Smith, Paul Goldschmidt, Tommy Edman & Nolan Arenado

GPP STACKS

Milwaukee Brewers (vs. Washington Nationals - SP Jon Lester)

Note: This game has been postponed

Jon Lester is allowing a .325 batting average over 120 at-bats against the Milwaukee Brewers. Lorenzo Cain, Christian Yelich, and Kolten Wong are batting a combined 27 for 77 with six doubles and zero home runs. Each of these three players is batting at least .333 against Lester. I find it beneficial to invest in solid BvP stats (in larger sample sizes) including players who will be batting close to one another in the order. That is exactly what we have here. Lorenzo Cain, Christian Yelich, and Kolten Wong are batting 1,2,3.

Miami Marlins (vs. Boston Red Sox - SP Martin Perez)

Martin Perez will be matching up against a handful of tough right-handed batters tonight. The Miami Marlins will be facing left-handed SP Martin Perez. Perez allows right-handed hitters to bat .261 with three home runs over 142 at-bats. Perez pitches much worse at home with a 4.13 ERA (due to the Green Monster). Conversely, Perez is allowing a 2.91 ERA on the road. Invest in Miami Marlin power (right-handed) bats including Garrett Cooper, Jesus Aguilar, and Adam Duvall.

Top Plays: Jesus Aguilar, Garrett Cooper, Lorenzo Cain, Christian Yelich, Kolten Wong, & Adam Duvall
