ARIEL EPSTEIN: What's going on, Yahoo Fantasy. I'm the prop queen, Ariel Epstein, here with a pitcher and two hitters to put in your DFS lineups tonight. Starting with the pitcher, he's $32, it's the Miami Marlins left-handed pitcher, Braxton Garrett. He did just face the Pittsburgh Pirates in his last outing, however, I still like the match-up.
Garrett did awesome against Pittsburgh in his last start, considering the Pirates have the second-highest K rate against lefties. Also the Pirates 26th ranked OPS against left-handed pitchers. In his last outing against the Pirates, Garrett, six innings pitched, two hits allowed, zero earned runs allowed, 11 strikeouts, and two walks. I'm going to take a shot here on a back-to-back, and put Braxton Garrett in my lineup tonight.
My next play is $17, and that's the Toronto Blue Jays left fielder, Lourdes Gurriel Jr. He's up against the Boston Red Sox right hander, Nathan Eovaldi. Eovaldi has a worse ERA at home than he does on the road. As for Gurriel Jr, he's actually hitting above .300 against right handed pitchers. He's hitting above .300 on the season. Nonetheless, against Eovaldi in his career, hitting .313 with two home runs and three RBI. I'm going to put Lourdes Gurriel Jr in my lineup.
My last player, he's 11 bucks, it's the Chicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson. The Cleveland Guardians have their right hander, Cal Quantrill on the mound tonight, whose ERA is worse on the road than it is at home. Anderson is a contact hitter, and he's hitting .357 with a double and three RBI in his career against Quantrill. The numbers are also really good for Anderson when he's at home. He's hitting .297. Anderson is hitting .300 on the season. Give me the contact hitter. Tim Anderson in my line up against Cal Quantrill tonight.
