MLB 2021 opening day schedule: Probable pitchers, start times for every game Thursday

The 2021 Major League Baseball season begins Thursday and while all 30 teams were scheduled to open on the same day for the first time since 1968, two games (Red Sox-Orioles and Nationals-Mets) were postponed in the morning.

Things get underway at 1:05 p.m. ET with the Yankees hosting the Blue Jays and go through the night with three games on the West Coast getting underway in the 10 p.m. hour.

Here's the full schedule for Thursday around the league:

1:05 p.m. ET: Blue Jays at Yankees – LHP Hyun-jin Ryu vs. RHP Gerrit Cole

1:10 p.m.: Cleveland at Tigers – RHP Shane Bieber vs. LHP Matthew Boyd

POSTPONED: Orioles at Red Sox – LHP John Means vs. RHP Nathan Eovaldi

2:10 p.m.: Twins at Brewers – RHP Kenta Maeda vs. RHP Brandon Woodruff

2:20 p.m.: Pirates at Cubs – RHP Chad Kuhl vs. RHP Kyle Hendricks

3:05 p.m.: Braves at Phillies – LHP Max Fried vs. RHP Aaron Nola

4:10 p.m.: Dodgers at Rockies – LHP Clayton Kershaw vs. RHP German Marquez

4:10 p.m.: Diamondbacks at Padres – LHP Madison Bumgarner vs. RHP Yu Darvish

4:10 p.m.: Cardinals at Reds – RHP Jack Flaherty vs. RHP Luis Castillo
