Recruiting is big business in college athletics, especially in football, where the practice of trying to get the next blue chip recruit to attend your favorite school has become a year round business.
Coaches will try almost anything to get the next five-star recruit, from Nick Saban living his best "Dancing with the Stars" fantasy to Jim Harbaugh having a sleepover at a recruit's house to Brian Kelly totally embarrassing himself with this attempt at trying to be cool.
Missouri coach Eli Drinkwitz has decided to get in on the action. Drinkwitz and offensive line coach/run game coordinator Marcus Johnson showed up Friday at Lee Summit North High School in Missouri in a dump truck.
The coaches were there to see 2022 signee Armand Membou and 2023 offensive line four-star prospect Cayden Green, who both attend the school.
The strange methods are paying off as Missouri is ranked in the top 15 in several recruiting services for the class of 2022.
