Minnesota looking for answers at home vs. Houston

Three games into the MLS season, the Minnesota United sat 2-1 and things looked good. Four games later, Minnesota sits 2-5, as the team has suffered four straight losses.

Minnesota and coach Adrian Heath will look to get back on track as they at home for only the third time this season when they host the Houston Dynamo Saturday night.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CT at TCF Bank Stadium.

After being on the road the last two games, including a 3-1 loss to Seattle last week, Heath is hoping the home cooking will go a long way to curing the team's woes.

"We have some issues that we need to address because we can't carry on like that. And as I've said, whether that means a change of system or a change of personnel ... we will not continue in that vein," said Heath. "We've got five of the next six at home. Let's see where we are then. I think it will give us a better picture of where we are in this league."

There are certainly trouble areas for Minnesota (2-5-0) that need improvement, both on offense and defense. In the four losses, the team has been outscored 10-3, and has been plagued by surrendering early goals.

The struggling Minnesota offense took another blow last week when Ethan Finlay, one of the bright spots for the Minnesota attack, suffered a torn ACL in the loss to Seattle.

Houston (2-2-2) is coming off a big, 5-1 win over Toronto in a match that saw five different players score. The five goals tied a team record for goals in a game and evened the team's record on the season.

Mauro Manotas has four goals on the season to lead the Dynamo, with Alberth Elis adding three.
